Halloween was so much fun this year. Our neighborhood parade kicked off the night. Charlie, a green dinosaur, was very intrigued with the fire truck that led the parade. He called it a "tractor" and very carefully inched closer so he could touch it...love the expression when he finally gets there!!!

We then had a neighborhood pizza party and got home in time for Haley to hit the street to collect some goodies. But first, we had to have a costume change. Haley insisted that snow white was too scratchy (translation = itchy) and she now wanted to be a fairy. So, of course we conceded.

Then...the real fun! Scott and I went to Melissa and Kermit's annual Halloween party. Spiderman and Supergirl were a sight for sore eyes...especially considering the outfits had to be duck taped because they were so tathered and ill-fitting. I wish I had brought my camera to the party to post some of the other outfits...everyone was decked out this year. We are already looking forward to 2009...thanks to Melissa and Kermit for throwing a great party.
