Trip up the mountain

This weekend, we enjoyed a great trip to Blowing Rock. The weather was pretty mild for February in the mountains, so we were able to spend some time in the park and walking around downtown.


Scott and I celebrated Valentine's Day with dinner at the Best Cellar. Scott lined up Lauren to babysit and we enjoyed an awesome night out!


Haley and Charlie are playing together more and more. Haley only wants him to play with her on her terms and he really does not mind until ALL of the toys have been taken away from him. I am trying to teach her to share, but gosh...it is so hard for a 2 year old to understand that she has to share with her baby brother!



Bebe has about 10 thousand baskets in the mountains and Charlie had to try to get in each and every one of them. Needless to say, we were on our toes all weekend making sure that Charlie did not get into too much trouble.



Another new thing, Haley and Charlie actually slept together in the same room all weekend, which is a first. Charlie is usually stuffed in a closet because we were too scared to try it, pretty pathetic, but sleep is way too important for all of us to stay sane! I was proud of them...they actually slept until 7 and woke up so happy to see each other!
